About Ed

Iā€™m Edward Lowe, and I am a coach, runner and athletics official based in East London.

I have a deep passion for the sport of running. I think the physical and mental benefits of the sport are incredible, and I am keen to share my passion with other runners through coaching.

I am deeply integrated with the high quality running community in East London. I run primarily for my local running club, Victoria Park Harriers & Tower Hamlets Athletics Club, as well as my company (JP Morgan Running Club) and regularly take part at Mile End Parkrun.

I have completed two marathons (including London - my best running experience to date!), numerous half marathons and many 10k / 5ks. I have learned a lot from these experiences, which are factored into my running training.

I am not a professional athlete by any means - I struggle to balance running alongside work, social life and family commitments. I believe that this experience is more helpful as a coach than someone who is entirely dedicated to the sport, and is important to help people improve.

When I am not running, I work as a Executive Director Delivery Manager at Chase UK, where my role includes coaching others in program management. I am also a massive football fan (Aston Villa) and Olympics obsessive.
